招商轮船5月6日公告， 近日，招商气运下设的4家单船公司与卡塔尔能源举行4艘QCMAX型LNG运输船舶25+5年期的《长期运输协议》签字仪式。仪式后，双方分别完成协议签署并于5月2日生效。同日，与沪东船厂关于4艘QCMAX型LNG运输船舶的《船舶建造协议》完成签署并生效，总船舶造价约为100亿元。
