4月16日，时代中国控股午后跌幅扩大，截至发稿跌40.34%，报0.142港元。公司在港交所发布公告称，于4月15日接到恒生银行有限公司提出的清盘呈请，内容有关指称金额分别约为1.732亿美元及7.31亿港元的公司财务责任。高等法院已将呈请的首次聆讯日期定为7月3日。
