8月23日，港元(7.8401,0.0027,0.03%)拆息普遍下跌，仅一周及两周钱分别升至3.88976%和4.17345%。其中，隔夜息进一步跌至2.82548%，续创逾两个半月低位，而与楼按相关的一个月拆息亦连跌七天，降至4.35345%，为6月8日以来最低。
三个月期拆息报4.78238%，续创逾两个月新低，与同期美元LIBOR息差扩阔至86基点。长息方面，六个月及一年期拆息分别降至5.04214%和5.30506%。
