1.Forex:
USD trimmed gains Wednesday after the Fed released minutes from its July meeting.
AUD fell 1.23% against USD.
NZD fell 0.98% against USD.
2.Gold: Gold prices narrowed on Wednesday, after the minutes of the Federal Reserve meeting showed that the pace of future interest rate hikes will depend on future economic data, and the climbing dollar still put pressure on gold prices.
3.Oil: Oil prices turned from losses to gains on Wednesday, rising about 1.5% after hitting a six-month low. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Wednesday that crude oil inventories plunged 7.1 million barrels to 425 million barrels in the week ended Aug. 12, compared with forecasts for a 275,000-barrel decline.
4.Stocks: The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.5 percent to 33,980.32 points. The S&P 500 fell 0.72 percent to 4,274.04. The Nasdaq fell 1.25 percent to 12,938.12.
