FxGecko reminds investment enthusiasts that choosing a platform that is regulated by reliable regulatory agencies is crucial. Before choosing a foreign exchange platform for investment, it is essential to conduct sufficient research and investigation in order to better obtain investment security and a better trading experience.

The FxGecko app has received a complaint regarding compensation claims for DBG Markets account theft.

Complainant's disclosure:

I have opened an account for trading at DBG Markets (MT4 account number: 8313961, account opening email address: chd@youzhong.tech ). I opened an account on May 24, 2023 and deposited $7000 in cash. On May 25, 2023, I deposited $3000 in cash, totaling $10000. Both funds were transferred to my DBG Markets account through my UnionPay card.

But surprisingly, on June 13, 2023, an unknown person transferred $8500 out of the account through USDT withdrawal. After checking with customer service, it was found that the thief entered my securities backend and applied for withdrawal four times. The first three times were rejected, and the fourth withdrawal was successful. The thief applied to change my registered email throughout the entire process, which led to the successful withdrawal of the funds. Regarding the incident of my account being stolen $8500, I believe that DBG has committed serious violations.

There are several reasons for this:

1. I deposited money in Chinese yuan through a UnionPay card. According to international anti money laundering conventions, I must also withdraw money through a UnionPay card, but I was withdrawn through USDT and my wallet address was not registered on the platform beforehand, which is a serious violation.

2. My registered email address was changed by a thief, but DBG Markets did not notify the parties involved in any form.

3. Changing the withdrawal method and registered email address during the first application for withdrawal is a high-risk abnormal behavior, and DBG Markets does not have any risk control measures. In summary, DBG Company bears an inescapable responsibility for the theft of $8500 from my account. Therefore, it is requested that DBG company compensate the stolen $8500 as soon as possible.
