FxGecko reminds you that investing and trading is risky and you need to do your due diligence.
Recently, an investor asked FxGecko what about CITM, a forex broker.
FxGecko data shows that CITM has the following 3 significant high risk signals.
1.New. CITM's website was created on March 7, 2023. Investors need to be wary of such newly founded forex brokers.
2. Anonymous. CITM's website does not disclose the name of the company it belongs to and details of its registration and regulatory information, nor does it have any valid legal documents, high risk!
3. Unregulated. CITM's website shows its address in Hong Kong, but it does not have a relevant forex trading or brokerage license, high risk!
The above 3 high risk signals mean that your funds and personal information will not be safe when you trade with such new, anonymous, unregulated forex brokers. And because the background and operations of such anonymous platforms cannot be easily verified, it is difficult to bring them to justice even if they commit fraud.
FxGecko reminds you that there are many ways in which fraudulent platforms disguise themselves as legitimate brokers, such as: cloning legitimate brokers; using registration information to impersonate regulatory information; using a legally regulated company as a signboard while actually soliciting clients with illegitimate subsidiaries; luring you to invest with fake trading experts and profitability data, etc. The list of scammers is endless and often very secretive.
Therefore, FxGecko advises that you should always be cautious when you come across investment opportunities that promise high returns with little or no risk. These are likely to be scams.
