1.Forex:
EUR rose 0.10 % against USD to $1.0169, after falling to $1.0121, the lowest since Aug. 3.
USD rose 0.69% against JPY to 134.2.
AUD rebounded from a decline earlier in the session and was little changed on the day.
NZD fell 0.34 %.
USD fell 0.43 % against the CAD.
2.Gold: Gold prices fell on Tuesday as USD held near three-week highs as investors awaited the release of minutes from the Federal Reserve's last meeting from which to find direction on rate hikes, with USD holding near three-week highs hit earlier in the session.
3.Crude oil: Brent crude fell 2.9 % to close at $92.34 a barrel. U.S. crude fell 3.2 % to settle at $86.53 a barrel.
4.Stocks: The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.71 to close at 34,152.01. The S&P 500 index rose 0.19% to close at 4305.20 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.19% to close at 13,102.55 points.
